The frame is solid metal with a brushed brass finish rather than a coated plastic, so it keeps its colour and does not flake or yellow with age. The light sits behind a diffuser panel instead of exposed bulbs, which is what gives it an even glow instead of visible hot spots.

Does it need wiring or a socket?
No. It runs on a built-in rechargeable battery and charges over USB, so it can go on any wall, including ones with no socket nearby.
How is it fixed to the wall?
With two screws. Mark and drill the two holes, drive the screws part way in, and the shelf hangs onto them and sits flat against the wall. The back plate covers the screws, so nothing is visible from below or from the side.
How big is it?
20 x 20 cm (7.9 x 7.9 in).
What is it made of?
Metal with a brushed brass finish, with an acrylic diffuser over the light.
What can I put on it?
It is made for display rather than storage: a small plant, a candle, a bottle, a framed photo or a few favourite objects.
Can I use more than one together?
